<p>I got in Wisconsin last week, woohoo! But I got a letter saying that i need to turn in housing prefernce materials by Feb. Does that also mean my acceptance to that school or jus housing purposes? Also if i do pick some dorm and later don’t wish to attend the university, can I cancel it? When is the notification date for Wisconsin??</p>

the sooner you apply, the better the chances. i think you’ll do fine, just do good on your essays. I know wisconsin doesn’t ask for specific essays, but write about what you can bring to the campus. for example, talk about how you can bring diversity to the campus by increasing cultural awareness by starting a club or whatever. Key is to expand on diversity and other things you’ll bring to the campus. And then write another essay on your academic interests, be very specfic, look into their courses and research etc. List your awards and EC’s in a very detailed format. Show your interest by writing those two essays I talked about. Get the application out as soon as possible!!! I wish you the best of luck:)</p>

i sent my app out on the 8th december and my school stuff should have reached them bout 19th 20th of december i wrote 1 essay could i have written two ?
I wrote bout the diversity and stuff it was about 2 pages long and i’d bring to them on the online app i put the ec’s but i could explain them well but i asked my couselor to mail my extracuricular resume with the recos and stuff i had two techers recomend me so i dont know if thats aceeptable but they should have it …</p>
