I have two keyboards and two mice for a single computer - and they all can fit

<p>So one keyboard is hooked up to the USB port (USB keyboard), the other is hooked up to the traditional keyboard port. And the funny thing is - I can use BOTH keyboards on the same computer AT THE SAME TIME!! Has anyone tried this before? has anyone found an interesting and creative way to do tasks one otherwise couldn’t do? one potential application I’ve thought of: maybe this would allow two people to play a 1v1 multiplayer game on the same computer (not a full-screen game) - if the keyboard controls are properly configured!! (some games allow you to do that - but one player can use up/down/right/left arrows and the other player has to use asdf or ghjk to move one’s character). it would be so much more convenient if both people could use different keyboards. Maybe there are computer games that even allow for multi-screen viewing - like the type you see when you hook four N64 consoles with each other so the screen is split between the four people. </p>

<p>anyways my old computer died but the mouse and keyboard are still okay. </p>

<p>And what about the mouse? has anyone configured a computer to have TWO mouse cursors? I could like totally multitask with that, maybe… Or more interesting - maybe two people could surf the Internet on the same computer (but with the browser divided). it would be economically efficient for those on tight budgets or something.</p>

<p>you can have to mouses (computer mouses isn’t mice when plural, right???), but it will still only show up as one cursor on the screen. you would be fighting with the other mouse the entire time, and nothing would get done.</p>

<p>as far as the two keyboard for multiplayer games, that would also mean that you could control the other person’s character. I mean, if there are two people that wouldn’t cheat, it can work, but if somebody starts to lose, it would probably turn ugly.</p>

<p>IK, it’s interesting to note that the percent of your posts that are threads has increased by about 25% in the last month or two. It went from 250 out of 750 to 450 out of 850.</p>
