<p>I had 700+ on each of the math and writing sections, but got a 580 on my CR :(. I got 17/19 on vocab, so its not vocab that’s killing my score. Its the reading comprehension (I got 33/48 on the short, long, and double passages. How do I improve my reading comprehension for the SAT reading?
The answers are too subjective for me, and I do the “answer the line questions first when reading it, then broad and general after reading.”</p>
<p>That said, would reading like 2 articles of NY times each day help my reading comprehension? I haven’t taken any Blue Book tests yet, but plan on doing that in August, September. But until then, what can I do?</p>
