Just curious. I seem to recall at some point people with 1000 posts had a different status. But I don’t know what my pre-1000 post status was.

It means you spend too much time here.

Like the rest of us.

Isn’t that the truth

It used to make you a senior member. That was back when Parents Forum posts didn’t count.

Thanks. I thought there was a difference.

you were sent the secret password, right? And the handshake?

Lol… Thanks Garland, I needed that.
Oh, but wait… I just got notice that I was promoted to senior member, so I guess the handshake and the password may be in the mail.

Don’t let your husband and kids see it. My husband just about flipped out when he saw how many posts I had.

Well, besides meaning you are here way to much (guilty as charged) you now have “Senior Member” under your name :)

Montegut…show him my post count. Makes you look like a slacker:)

I often wonder why I find this website so addictive. Any thoughts from you 1000+ posters?

Virtual/real life friendships. Great, mostly sound advice on everything from what to make for dinner to how to help elderly parents - and everything I between. Threads that are longer than some friendships in real life!

I think what it means is you just helped CC increase it’s ad revenue. Only 599 to go.

OH NO I have over 1,000 posts also and I am a senior member - don’t know when that happened!

It’s like Hotel California- you can check out any time you like- but you can never leave.

High post count probably means you’re a bored empty nester like the rest of us.

thumper, you made me feel better about myself.

It is kind of funny that. I became a senior member just as my youngest son decided on his college.

I have to admit that when I notice post counts, the five figure and over numbers definitely get my attention. I know that some high number posters have been here for many years and others hone in on particular subjects to be helpful. Still, I am impressed and puzzled at the same time.

Once you hit 2000, you get to sit at the cool table. :)
