<p>I’m applying to schools that don’t require SAT IIs. I took Literature and US History (two things I want to major in) anyway because I figured that they could only help, not hurt. However, I scored surprisingly low and am really bummed out. I’ve heard that CollegeBoard will send out EVERYTHING you’ve taken. Even though the colleges don’t outright ask for them, these tests are going to have a negative impact on me.</p>

<p>I doubt it- the individual college will usually just look at the scores they require, UNLESS they stand out as a plus. That is, the admin person pulling together your file, just notes the scores asked for and passes that to the reader.</p>
<p>would i need to notify the colleges, or the admin person putting together my file will know whether or not it’s best to include them?</p>
