<p>sent my deposit and am now officially a member of the Class of 2010!!! I also filled out the housing/dining app (Carmen as first choice…really hope I get it). Needless to say I am very excited. I know this post really had no point…I just wanted to share my excitement with my future classmates!</p>

<p>My hand quivered and my heart was beating out of my chest as I filled out my SIR to Columbia when I was a senior. Not that I wasn’t confident in my choice, but that point-of-no-return feeling kind of got a hold of me. About 75% of all freshmen get Carman… I filled out my housing application late and got it, though it is a first choice for the majority of the incoming class. Probably the best setup for housing you’ll get until you’re at least a junior or senior, structurally speaking.</p>
<p>haha, I just did the same today, although I’m holding up on the housing/dining app. Congrats on your acceptance. It truly was gratifying to finally secure the deal and finally enroll after these 17 long years…</p>
