<p>When ARE those pesky little overachievers going to stop asking you to tell them their chances? Good lord.
But in all seriousness, as much as I detest the fact that I am composing this post, I would like to know what my chances are of acceptance into the Ivy League and other “prestige” schools. My current hit list is as follows:</p>

And, of course, my inevitable safety schools, George Mason being the highlight and the only one safety net I’ve really set up right now.</p>
<pre><code>I, of course, do not intend to get into a large portion of these, but that’s why so many are listed. Over the next three years, I will narrow down my options and apply to a select fewer schools for my undergraduate.
I am currently a rising Freshman at a secondary school, on the IB track (heading for the IB diploma). My undergraduate degree is currently unclear to me, but will most likely be a field of science or psychology. I then intend to enter the legal track; but one thing at a time.
At this point in time, I have accumulated awards such as overall best student for my grade level (2011 - 2012), English Student of the Year (twice, 2011 - 2012 and 2012 - 2013,) History Student of the Year (2011 - 2012), honors in Science and academic excellence in general (2011 - 2012 for science, academic excellence twice/2011 - 2012, 2012 - 2013). I have also, this past year won the Laura M. Elliot writing award at my school, beating out approximately twenty of the best writers from my peers. I have written a novel, self-published and limitedly available, and intend to write another novel before my senior year. I am heavily involved with charity. I have volunteered at multiple organizations, including at actual work offices such as my father’s (he is an assessment coordinator at a real estate company in Prince William County). I have been in National Junior Honor Society, and was president this past year. I have participated in the Newspaper club, Science Olympiad, Model U.N., SCA, Literary Magazine, etc. etc. etc. I ran for student body (did not win, but intend to run again in my junior year). I have taken debate/speech classes, test prep. classes, and essay writing classes. Of course…this was all middle school, so it doesn’t count for MUCH.
I am taking all honors this year along with Geometry honors and German II (and Business Law and Management). Next year, I will take Algebra II with Trig., German III, and Criminal Justice (all honors, one AP, and one IB, the only AP class available at the IB school I will be attending and the only available IB class in tenth grade…but the IB class in tenth grade is still weighted as an honors class, so +.05). Junior year, I will take IB English HL, IB History HL, IB Biology HL, and (most likely but not certainly) IB Math SL. Also, IB German I and IB Theory of Knowledge, along with SGA (Student Government Association - yes, you must take it as a class at my school, which IS pretty messed up). Senior year I will take IB Psychology SL, IB Math II SL (I think that’s what it’s fundamentally called, but I’m not certain,) IB History HL II, IB Biology HL II, and IB English HL II. My extra-curriculars will be vast, constituting of student government, literary magazine, yearbook, all five of the available community service clubs, all honors roll clubs (except for foreign language, because I don’t have the interest to partake in afterschool German banter, alas), my school’s academic quiz bowl, Science Olympaid, Model U.N., Speech/Debate, Mock Trial, etc. etc. etc., but I will not be participating in sports (I’m quite slow and sucky, and I have long-term carpal tunnel and tendonitis so a lot of sports are out for me as it is…also, vasovagal prevents me from virtually the only sport I could do at my school, track - there is no indoor track at my school).
I intend to apply next year (Sophomore year) for a position with the FBI for their high school summer internship program (when I will be a rising Junior). The summer following that, going into my Senior year, I intend to, if accepted, attend either the Yale Young Scholars summer program (less likely) or the Harvard Secondary School program (more likely) (if I get accepted into one or the other, but I feel I have infinitesimal chances for either, basically). I intend to do the Google Science Fair in 2014 (I will most likely be doing a project revolving around MRIs, or building my own oscillator). I intend to start my own website/business within a two-year stretch starting this Fall (I’m considering a sort of LinkedIn directed at the youth of the world primarily). I intend to get very involved with political activism in the next year, and intend to get heavily involved with local politics. I intend to continue fundraising efforts, and I intend to keep my grade point average always above a 3.9 (although right now it’s actually a low 3.75 because while I aced German I in eighth grade, I completely blitzed Algebra I HN and got a grizzly B).
Assuming I do all of this (factoring both in and out the internship with the FBI and he Yale/Harvard prepatory program, because those are rogue factors right now) and get at least (AT LEAST) a 2200 on my SAT (I fear my Math will not be good enough for much higher), what do you assume are my chances at the aforementioned colleges I doled out at the beginning of this very long-winded thread? <p>Also: My mother is Colombian, thus I have been encouraged to play the “Hispanic” card, as dirty as I feel doing it (I do not believe in affirmative action whatsoever, but I am Hispanic and I might as well use it to my advantage I suppose). My father is Turkish, so no card there. I am American-born. My parents make good enough money for me to not qualify for need-based financial aid (but that’s not an important factor here, I don’t think, as far as my acceptance chances go).</p>
<p>Also, one more question: Should I expunge my Algebra I grade? Will it affect me positively, or have an infinitesimal effect that won’t matter much and will only leave me grappling with rocks to try to meet all nine SOL requirements that the “lovely” good ol’ state of VA requires per graduate getting an advanced diploma?</p>
