i know its late... but please chance me for ea

<p>Guys, I really, really need to know if I will get accepted for EA, or I’ll die. I love UChicago so much, I think I would just faint if I were to find out if I wasn’t accepted. Ughh, I know it’s late, but please… CHANCE ME.</p>

<p>SAT - 1410, cr - 650, math - 760
SAT IIs - Bio-E - 710, Math II - 760, US History - 710, Math I - 740
GPA - 3.432 UW
Rigorous IB Program, my schedule this year:</p>

<p>IB English, IB Spanish, IB History, IB Psych, AP Calc BC, AP Physics B, TOK, AP Micro
Passed six AP exams with at least a 4</p>

<p>Awards

  • Princeton Book Award
  • Advanced Comp sci award</p>

<p>Ex-currics

  • Mu Alpha Theta - 4 years, President
    • Really dedicated to tutoring students. Has become a weekly thing and a part of my life
  • National Honor Society - 3 years, President
    • Really dedicated to helping the community, and tutoring others.
  • Varsity Swimming - 3 years
  • YSP Program - competitve math/science program at FSU over summer 2009.</p>

<p>Essays:
How did I get caught - wrote about how curiosity caught me, and I am forever entangled in it. (Two people looked at it, said it was pretty good)
Common app - about a cat that became a part of my family, and then died (I thought it was an average essay)</p>

<p>I applied through QB, was rejected, and is now EA. I love the school so much, from the creativity, to the atmosphere, to the charm of the school – aaaaaah…</p>

<p>Please, please chance me, or again, I’ll die. If I were to find out I got rejected from UChicago, I’ll cry like hell.</p>

<p>I really don’t mean to be a downer, but this thread isn’t going to help you. No one can say definitively whether you will get in or not. If we tell you that you will be rejected, you will feel terrible. If we tell you that you stand a good chance of acceptance and you end up being rejected, you will be crushed. Decisions come out in less than 48 hours. Just wait it out; we know it’s tough.</p>

I’m really sorry we all have to go through this pain of waiting, but chancing you right now has the chance to make you feel a LOT worse.
So just distract yourself, put a smile on your face, and wait for it. 'Cause that’s all anyone can do right now. That’s just what I’m trying to do, at least.</p>
