<p>Yeah, I read somewhere here that someone who knows him at Harvard says that his mom pressured him into doing some of those apps.
But, still, ridiculous story.</p>

<p>I would say he got lucky…a new immigrant who managed to do well at school and participated in lots of activities. Basically its a Disney feel-good story, and we all know everybody likes those!! Still…7? WHAT THE HELL?!</p>

<p>I’m not trying to detract from his accomplishments but if someone can get into Harvard and Princeton they don’t really have a problem with getting admitted into the rest of the Ivies. I mean it’s not unusual for someone to apply to 7 schools, which in his cases were Ivies.</p>
