<p>There’s a new reality show in Canada: Battle of the Blades. Pair female Olympic/National figure skaters with NHL players and create reality-figure skating competition. I’ve just spent fifteen minutes watching the YouTube videos, and it’s been a delight!</p>
<p>It’s a fun show, dmd. It’s been on for several weeks now and this weekend is the finale. Two of my Ds have been at a few of the episodes. It’s filmed at the old Maple Leaf Gardens which has been empty for ten years since the Leafs moved to the Air Canada Centre.</p>

<p>I’ve caught a couple episodes - it’s been so fun! I grew up skating with my family - including my four brothers. It’s wonderful to see everyone having such a good time on the ice.</p>
<p>For anyone interested this show has started again. Tonight was the second episode but the first where they competed. Sunday at 8 on CBC</p>
