I am currently a freshman in college. I am a Chemistry major and I made all A’s in my courses (including gen chem, college algebra, etc); however, I made a D in the “Art Appreciation” class I was forced to take. Should I retake it? Right now, I am planning on going to graduate school (and I’m shooting for a rather prestigious one) so would it be recommended I retake it to help my GPA? Since it’s a class that isn’t relevant towards my field of study I thought it might not matter, but a D never looks good on a transcript.
