So I really messed up my first semester. I just recently moved twice within 3 months, which happened as soon as I started my first semester at community college. If I just withdrawal from all my classes will it affect my GPA? I have been going back and forth from my mothers house to my fathers and its been very stressful and they both live far so I was never able to get to school (I do not have a car) I was planning on applying to a different community college closer to my moms house but I was wondering if withdrawing would look bad. And when i move from a 2 year to a university will they see that I messed up that first semester even though i did not get my associates degree from there?
If you withdraw your GPA will not be affected. Can you still withdraw though? Many schools have a deadline after which you cannot withdraw, and that may have passed depending on your school’s calendar.
When you go to transfer, one bad semester is not going to affect you as long as you show that you turned things around. There are many, many students who have a rough start and go on to be successful.
