I missed the calday and I’m regretting that I should have gone there. Is there gonna be another day where incoming freshmen can visit? Or do I just have to wait until the orientation?

cal so i’m not sure!

Ooooo missing Cal Day is definitely not good…your admission might get rescinded.

yeah i know that. i guess im a risk taker

i missed cal day too =( i dont think there’s another day… calso?

lol theres no day like calday…its a huge day…chances are theres nothing the same size and helpfulness…

theres no relation between not attending calday and getting rescinded, right?

Of course there is. From the moment you step through Sather Gate, tiny micro trackers are secretly planted on your body somewhere and the Campus Physical Plant tracks your movement and identification. If you weren’t there, Physical Plant will report it to Admissions and there’s a good chance your admission will get rescinded.

nah. Cal day is important only if you want to get a feel of the campus

lol stop being mean to the freshies!

Oh SHOOT! I went to Cal Day but I didn’t step through Sather Gate! Does this mean I’m screwed?

If you missed Cal Day, just camp out at [People’s Park](http://www.peoplespark.org/) anytime for your REAL Cal orientation!

Its not that useful anyways. Just visit the school during the normal academic semester and you will get a more accurate idea of what Berkeley is like. Visit sproul, the buildings/classes for the majors you’re interested in, and the dorms when more students are actually in them (during the weekday) and you will get a much better idea about what Berkeley is like.

I think it’s very helpful, and lets students know about a lot of opportunities, but you will probably learn about many of these over time, and you can always walk around cal day next year to find out even more. You will definitely have a better feel of what Berkeley is like on a different day, but there is a lot of information more easily accessible at Cal Day.

roll down a hill and don’t step on the huge emblem…
