<p>I tried but failed to meet the Jan 1, 2010 (11:59 PM EST) deadline for all of the colleges I was interested in (Northwestern University, Boston College, New York University). WHAT DO I DO?! WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!?</p>
<p>Start looking for schools that have deadlines AFTER Jan 1. I believe these deadlines to be true:</p>
<p>Brown: Jan 4
Grinnell: Jan 2
Oberlin: Jan 15
Pomona: Jan 2
Rice: Jan 2
Wash U: Jan 15</p>

<p>I did the same thing last year with about 5 schools including BC. They give you a leeway of a few hours after 12 AM. Hopefully you submitted them even though it was late, but check tomorrow and later and you should be in order.</p>
