<p>Can someone refer me to some lenders that do not require a co-signer? I need a maximum loan of 40k, or maybe less.</p>

<p>Do I have to apply for the Federal Stafford and Perkins loan after I submit my FAFSA or can I do it before? I’m fairly new to this process. Also how do you know which lender to choose? Do the schools that you plan on going to refer you to the lenders?</p>
