I was deferred from my top choice, UMich, a few weeks ago. My application was very solid with the exception of the SAT score, where I received only an 1880. On the most recent ACT, I got a 31!
I believe this a fairly large improvement. Unfortunately, I took the act plus writing and do not have that score back. I really need to send the score off quickly - naively when I first signed up for the act, I applied to have my scores sent to colleges. This means that my scores are not going to be sent off until the writing score is reported. What should I do?

my daughter got hers in the mail today along with writing score. I’m sure UMich got yours today as well

I thought you would only get scores by mail upon request, though? I didn’t request it to be sent to me, just to the colleges. My online score does not list a writing score.

Yes, you do have to request on. You should have your writing scores in 2 weeks or less.
