I need advice: Accepted into CSUF awaiting CSUN.

Hello,

I am a transfer student from a community college in California. I have been admitted by CSUF as a Political Science Major with a Political Science AA-T Associates Degree that I will receive by the end of this fall. I am planning to transfer out of community college by Spring 2016. However, decisions are difficult because I have a best friend who goes to CSUN. Moreover, CSUN is also another choice for me because of the relatively lower cost being that CSUF will cost me $3000 more in every other expense. Here is an example, CSUN’S housing costs an average $7100 while CSUF cost is $9000.

Fullerton has a diverse community. For myself I especially would like to go to this college because there are many White/Caucasian’s. According to some googling and college statistics, CSUF has a 27% enrollment of White/Caucasian people and a 21% Asian population as well. Yes I am Asian! I also love white people.

As for CSUN its community is also diverse but spills into the Hispanic race more so than not. My choice does not really focus on race nor color. The focus is diversity. I love diversity and I love meeting new people of all different ethnic cultures. That’s is where the decision is difficult. I have not yet been admitted by CSUN but I will be hopefully.

The other problem is cost. CSUF will cost be $50,000 or more to attend while CSUN will be dramatically less. CSUN will be at an estimated cost of $17,000 a year compared to the $25,000 I will pay as a undergraduate living in a dorm.

So the advice I need is not whether or not political science is useless that’s not what I am asking. What is the best option for me, I also chose the major “Political Science with a focus in Law and Society” on CSUN’s college app. On the other hand, for CSUF it is just Political Science. Fullerton however offers a minor in law; also, it has a national honorary society but then again every college has Greek clubs and honor societies I just do not know what to pick. Fullerton sounds like a nice college name on a resume, at least that is what I think!

Fourth excerpt, silly mistake the word “be” is suppose to be “me.”
