I hope im putting this in the right section, forgive me if this isn’t.

I have to do my first Literary Analysis paper and im a little nervious, its 7 pages long. Im writing on the symbolism of the wallpaper from the short story “The Yellow Wallpaper”

the requirements are as follows

"Literary Analysis will most likely comprise a majority of your college level writing. This paper will give you the opportunity to practice that skill. Select some specific aspect of any short story covered or to be covered (see the syllabus for future readings) and in a complete essay of 7 – 10 pages, please analyze its meaning to the overall story. You may use two stories if you find that they are contextually related, but please do not write a compare and contrast essay. This is an analysis.

Be sure to choose a key symbol, a theme, an image, or a character that you think is rich in meaning, important to the overall story, and that you understand and can discuss clearly. Your discussion should interpret the text from your own perspective and be supported with specific and clear evidence from the story [your primary source]; you may also cite from up to three (3) critical source"

(If someone could give me tips, or an outline that would help me plot out my thoughts that would be awesome. Thank you )
