So i’m about to finish my freshman year with a GPA of 3.9 and I have never done any honers in my past but when i was making my Sophomore year scheduled in high school and my ELA teacher put me in AP ELA for next year she claims for me that I am up for the challenge and since I have never done this good ever in my education i’m a bit scared to go in to thw class And i’m thinking about taking the safe way and changing my schedule back to regular ELA 2 I am thinking about this because I have terrible handwriting and spelling but that’s about it and i’m scared that AP ELA 2 will hurt my GPA what should I do? Take the class. Work hard. Have fun. There is no more important skill in college or life then written communication. Use it as an oppertunity to improve.
Take the class. Even if you don’t do as well in the AP class as a regular class it will still show you challenged yourself rather than sticking to comfortability. I believe you will do great.
