I am curious how much these bathtubs cost now.

Just went through this with my parents. They had a bath retrofit grant from the VA but were concerned about resale implications for a house they will likely need to sell in a few years and they didn’t want to sit in the tub while it drained. They ended up getting an electronic seat similar to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AUJ5B6Kvos but with a seat pivot that makes it easier to get in and out.
Here are a few sold at Costco for under $3000-4000 plus instalation, just to give you an idea of some prices. I have no personal experience and we don’t have the space in our bathroom for a real tub anyway.

I have an update!!! My MIL has had her tub for about 10 days and loves it. It cost about half of what the Premier quote was. The installers arrived at 9:30 in the morning and left at 1:30pm. Her original tub was removed, some pipes under the tub were fixed and the new tub was installed in that time. They also removed and replaced the door molding. We went to see her this weekend and she couldn’t stop gushing about how wonderful her new tub is. She loves getting into it after a long night of work. One day, I might even try it!
