It is in part due to foreign students paying full tuition that enables financial aid to be available for domestic students. This is not unique to U.S. schools. That’s how it works in schools/universities all over the world.

It is very difficult, if at all possible, for foreign students to get financial aid from a U.S. school. I would check with the school first to see if you are even eligible for consideration for financial aid, before you go through all the trouble (and cost) of applying to the school.

Are Romanians URM’s?

What is URM ?

Thx f the information ! I’ll try to contact them and find out more

Under represented minorities

And Under represented minorities mean?

A race or nationality that isn’t represented as much as another in a certain student body. Since schools want diversity, a URM(they are different for each school), may have a better chance at getting in because they would boost the schools diversity factor.
Does that make sense?

Yes, so its a good thing to have a race that the school barely has?

Yes as far as I understand!
