This level of responsibility is simply unavailable for an unproven man as myself in the competitive job market.

is it “myself” or “me”?

and yes i skipped the day when my 3rd grade teacher taught us the rule

“an unproven man such as myself” ??

yea thata wut i thought but my word processor keeps saying it’s “me”…

Personally, I would say “… simply unavailable for a man as unproven as myself”

let us know how it goes trying to submit it this late… servers going to be soooo slow

to add to the correction, what about replacing “as” with “like”? Sounds better imo, but I don’t know the full context of the topic.

No offense, but a person who waits until the last day to write their personal statement shouldn’t be talking about responsibility.

^^u mean a person who deals with over $1.5 million in monetary funds for his school and has a 4.0 while taking 24 units (9 honor units) this semester knows nothing about responsibility? sweet!

Why would anyone entrust $1.5 million to a kid that doesn’t even have a bachelor’s degree?

^that is EXACTLY the point

I’m not sure why our society has decided that having a bachelor’s degree means being responsible/a real adult/ready for employment, etc. Anyone can get a bachelor’s degree with enough time, but to demonstrate responsibility and maturity is another thing all together.

Bill Gates did not hold a bachelor’s degree until just a few years ago.

I like that the title of this thread is, “I need quick ‘grammer’ help please!” LMAO

To be fair, that’s more of a spelling situation :).

Let’s be friends AMorrison. ^,^
