I need some advice...

<p>Right now I'm completing my generals at a community college. I sort of wish that I would have planned out my class lineup over the last four semesters better, but I can't really change that. There's a couple of things that I need some guidance/advice on. </p>

<p>I'm getting ready to transfer and the place that I'm planning on transferring to, the U of MN-Twin Cities, is farther away and requires 4 semesters in a second language, I'm currently in my second semester of my second language. </p>

<p>The other college that is closer to home, but probably a lesser quality school doesn't require a second language. I'll be over 60 credits by the time I complete the final semester of the second language. What I'm getting at is that I'm missing out on classes that I actually want to take and I feel like I'm wasting money by going over what is required? </p>

<p>Call and ask at Uof MN -- maybe they'll give you a waiver. Explain your situation. You never know. Or sit down with your comm college's transfer advisor and see what he/she says.</p>
