k. so i was pretty confident about the Jan. SAT… but then i took the previously released March 05 exam, and i scored a 2170. im shooting for a 2250+, but i have only broken that range twice. i finally managed to raise my critical reading score up to 740, but then on the Mar.05 test, i got a 670, probably because i took it on my laptop, so i couldn’t annotate. besides that i made a stupid mistake on math, and okay in writing. anyways back to my point here… can anyone tell me stories about a significant score jumps compared to their diagnostic scores?

Don’t worry about it. The 2005 tests I found are much harder.

annotation is for squares.

I was going to do a few problems from the march 05 exam tomorrow, is that a bad idea since its tougher than the other exams. Will it lower my confidence if i take it?

i dont think it’ll lower ur confidence if u know thats not ur best score.

but u shud prolly have it on paper rather than

stare at the screen and scrolling up and down, like me lol.

it makes a huge difference for me when I’m doing it on paper instead of the screen

yeah same for me, especially for cr and writing since i cant cross of the wrong answer choices and i cant underline important parts

hmm u can actually umm…copy the passage by pressing “Print Screen” button, which is above F11 or F12, or around that area. Then paste it in paint, then resize the PDF file to match the screen, so u can focuse on the passage, while dragging the questions up and down, left and right in pDF. that’s what i did, for all my practices… sheesh ,it was a pain for my eyes in the summer.hahah.

did that make sense? lol…

Yes, i was scoring 670’s in writing on practice tests (the average of the range), but on the actual test i scored a 770. Goes to show that practice tests aren’t always accurate, maybe i got lucky, maybe i was extremely focused that day, who knows. However, most of the time, practice tests will understate your actual score (is what i’m guessing).
