I’m an international student, I wonder which would be stronger to find a job?
I find UF’s fisher college of accounting has a better performance for CPA than that of Fisher, allegedly according to UF’s website. OSU’s Fisher seems to have a better business school in general.

Have a look at rankings here - #10 vs. #12 - go with fit and COA - http://www.accounting-degree.org/best-accounting-schools-2017/
Both are similar schools with similar prospects. I would go to the state you want to start your career in, and is closer to the beaches and Disney World.
^^^LOL
Is this ranking accurate?
tru tho bro I love the sunshine state a lot better than Ohio.
I’ve seen A LOT OF GATOR fans on this forum
Gator fans? Where? what? who?
Those rankings, like the others are close enough. Both schools have excellent programs and are well recruited. It really comes down to cost and fit. Also consider where you may want to work after college, though both schools are recruited by the big 4 accounting firms.
gotcha Gator88NE.
How would you compare columbus’s opportunities to South Florida’s opportunities?
Would it be easier to find a job in Florida than Ohio because it has more big cities around?
In general, both would be about the same. Florida is now the bigger state (population wise) and is faster growing, but Ohio is close to other high population states. It’s really a question of where you want to work after college. Then again, you will get recruited to work outside of the state.
If you haven’t already, use LinkedIn to get a better sense of what type of jobs, which companies, and where, accounting grads at both school end up in.

If OP is an international, won’t he have trouble finding an accountant job in the US? Do employers sponsor accountants?
Thanks a lot Gator88NE! Yes I do like to work in Florida because I grew super tired of the environment of Ohio it’s almost like draining me. I just love Florida much better than Ohio state wise. Compare to eastern areas, I would love to experience the more southern part of US.
If I get into bigger companies I will have a greater chance to get sponsored.

I was deciding between these two schools as well, however, not as a business major. If for some reason you didn’t already decide, pm me and I can explain all the reasons why I chose UF. Go Gators!
I choose to go Gators too! After anything else I just wanted to be happy:)
