<p>I posted my stats here awhile ago. The reception I got was a handful of “dont count on getting in” since i scored a 1130 on my SATs. </p>
<p>Well, I got into my first choice school…College of Communications!</p>

<p>That is why I dont think asking chances matter…admissions are unpredictible!</p>
<p>Well UT is hopeless as far as consistency I think. A friend of mine had a 4.05(out of 4.5) unw gpa with a 1400 sat math and reading, and got capped. While another friend with a 4.0 and like a 12XX got summer programs. Congrats to you, but I feel bad for those who had good stats, but got capped.</p>

<p>I know what you’re saying about inconsistency. I got deferred to spring admission to UMCP. When my family, teachers, and friends found out, they were shocked. They were pretty confident that I would get in fall. I had friends with lower SATs, lower GPA, and few activities and got in…not to mention, some into the scholars and honors program.</p>
<p>I said this in the STATs thread and I will say it again. I think in the end everyone is going to the school where they want to be. </p>
<p>Also, I’m debating between Ohio State and UT now so I’m not sure if I’m going.</p>
<p>Eeeek I don’t agree with the “going to the school where they want to be”… I know TONS of people who want to be at UT so bad they would kill for it. But they messed up too much in high school to stand a chance.</p>
<p>Yeah. I am like top 30% with a 1910 SAT and got summer freshman. My friend is top 13%, An SAT score of 2000 and got CAPed.</p>
<p>BUT I did work my ASS off on my essays…</p>
<p>Yeah I can’t tell if what I write is good or not. I would really like to know if my essays really impacted my application. I spent some time on them, but it was more of a chore then anything else to me.</p>
<p>i got accepted to summer freshman some of my friends have waaay better stats got capped too. however i failed pre cal this year so when the see my final transcript i have no clue whats going to happen but i should have already started class. i wonder if theyll kick me out or put me on probation. anyone have a clue</p>
<p>You will be put on probation…That means you really need to focus during summer cause they will have a really close eye on you!</p>
<p>Does it matter in terms of you graduating that you failed a class, or do you have enough credits without it?</p>
