I really Messed it Up, help!

I gave my teachers (and counselor) the printable Common Application forms to write recommendations while I submitted everything else electronically. By the time I realized that school forms had their own online format (footnote: code, name, date) that was distinct to that of the printable ones, my teachers/counselor had already sent the recs to the school I decided to apply early for. What should I do? Should I call the school and tell them to disregard the forms and submit new ones from the electronic teacher's recommendation forms?

I'm worried since Nov. 1 is almost here; perhaps senior year is just getting to me.

I suggest you talk to your counselor about it and call the uni. asap.
tell them that there has been a mistake and to disregard whatever reached them.
howevever, this might not happen so easily.
becuase you cant technically cancel whatever you sent already.

good luck tho!

Oh my gosh, which schools does this apply to?!? Does Yale have its own forms? Because if it does, I'm screwed...:/

No southeasttitan, both refer to the Common Application. I, in my panic, was not so clear about that. The electronic version of the Common Application recommendations has a code, name, and date for the footnote whereas the "paper" version has only "Teacher Evaluation 1." I did everything electronic except my recommendations.

Aaah, phew. Thanks. :)

I think I might be okay:

"The Common App ID will not appear on paper forms retrieved from the "Downloadable Forms" section of the Common App website. However, the schools will still accept the school forms."
Support Center

I'm assuming that refers to this:

<a href="https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/DownloadForms.aspx%5B/url%5D">https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/DownloadForms.aspx</a></p>

I used the teacher recommendations found there. Comments on whether I'm right or wrong?

You'll be fine. The common app ID will probably make filing the papers easier for the college, but as your name and social security number is on all documents, they'll be able to get everything where it belongs. I asked for recs before I started my app, so mine doesn't have codes, either.
