i said 5, my GC said 3 to 4

<p>How will this impact me? For one activity, I reported that i spend 5 hours/week on it. But today a school emailed her about it and she said i only spend about 3-4 hours/week on it. Is this even a big deal?</p>

<p>to make matter worse, when the university guy first called her about the amount of hours i put in, she didn’t know what to say and just said she’ll find out. Then she called me to her office and asked me about it. I wasn’t sure how much i put down on my app so i said roughly 3-4 hours. Afterwards, she just called the guy back and reported that amount.</p>

<p>That’s a pretty unusual thing to call a GC about. Do you think they had some reason to doubt your involvement?</p>

<p>naw, its a Canadian school. It checks the references of all the applicants. For every activity i list on the app, i have to provide a contact info. I think student volunteers check these, not admission officers.</p>
