i sent in everything on nov. 1st...and...

i sent everything in on november 1st.....
how do I know if they got mine?? are they going to contact me or send me a mail????? it's november 7th now and i am confused.....

i also got in my stuff Nov. 1st
and haven't recieved anything
don't worry, i THINK and HOPE that it will come soon...

Have they sent you a pin no.?
I havent got mine as yet

Well, I sent mine in the Thursday before November 1 (Monday, as you all know) and I got my confirmation on Wednesday (November 3). Just so you guys know.

how do you get confirmation? do they send you your pin/letter in the mail?

Yes. I got it on Wednesday; the letter was dated November 2, Tuesday.

They send a letter with the PIN, but if you don't feel like waiting, you can send them an email and they will automatically respond with your PIN. Instructions are on the undergrad admissions website.

I sent my App. out Oct. 21st and still haven't receive a PIN. I e-mailed harvard and I got an automatic e-mail back saying to call back only if it's 3-4 weeks after you sent in your app and still have received a response. Do you guys think I should call now since it's been long and other people who sent in stuff later have received confirmation?

Yes. I got mine within 3 days - through snail mail!

I've been looking through the site but I can't find the bit with the e-mail PIN response notification. Someone point me in the right place? I really don't feel like waiting for the mail guy.

Forgot your PIN? Email admpin@fas.harvard.edu with PIN in the subject line and your complete name in the message body and we'll send your PIN to your email of record.

from https://adm-web.fas.harvard.edu/ha/submit?module=applicant&usecase=applicantCheckStatus

Don't worry abt not getting the letter soon, I got mine only 3 weeks after I sent the common app in... but then i'm an international student so I guess it would take more time.

does the applicant status page work for you? doesn't for me

I can see my status. Did you get your PIN, invictus?

I didn't apply online - does that mean I can't check the status?

i got my alumni interview contact already but not a PIN or confirm letter.

this is probably dumb...but how do they contact you for the interview?

Got the PIN but I can't access the link. Help! Waiting for the mail guy every day is very OCD.

All the letter is going to do is give you your PIN. If you got your PIN, that means they've recieved your application (or at least the common app, or the supplement). In the letter, they don't tell you the status of the rest of your application; you need to use the status check site to do that. What do you mean by "I can't access the link"?

I waited 2 months before my letter came, so just be patient, guys.
