So yeah… this isn’t everything, but it’s probably over-spam anyway. And I know that chances don’t even mean anything. I’m just so bored and nervous… ahhhhh less than three weeks until the first result comes back!!!

13 minute bump xD
This is metaphorical.

Your excellent SAT contradicts your low GPA and class rank. That may hurt you.

Yeah I know :/

For all it’s worth, I think you have a great chance of getting into Wharton. I mean, I know your GPA is definitely on the low side but you have amazing test scores, ECs, and awards that just might be able to compensate for the less-than-stellar GPA. Good Luck!

ravnvcroft is actually right

Alright thanks, anymore thoughts :S

hahahahah oh the irony of seeing you post here…
insert “get the hell out of this thread” here :-)

but anyways, your EC’s and scores are strong… but that gpa is gonna kill you. that said, i’d say its a real tossup for you.

penn- reach
carnegie- high match/ low reach (depends on if GPA and scores are worth more to them than the other stuff)
UVA- high match/ low reach (same as UVA)
UMD- not too sure, but i’d say in. you’re in- state and have WAY better stats across the board than a girl at my school who says she’s within their averages.
baruch- no idea man haha

i must say though, some of your resume if very impressive: ie course rigor, leadership, etc.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1032344-low-uw-gpa-chances.html

Get the hell out of this thread.
J/k :P

So, any more thoughts? I like being chanced, it calms me. I like to stare rejection in the eye LOL

I think you should apply to MIT & Caltech too…

Unfortunately, Penn cares more about rank than any school. Only 2% of admitted students were not in the top 10% of their high school class. If you’re not a minority or football star, it’s going to be very tough there.

CMU looks much better, they will love the high scores as will the public colleges. Good luck!

@2college, the rank is not given by my school, so Penn won’t see that. What’s your prognosis then?

Nervous bump.

Bumpity bump

You got USAPO? Holy… Yeah, I would give you a 100% shot at all of those schools besides Wharton. There I would give you a 50% shot. If your gpa was higher I’d give you a 90% shot.

*USAPHO

And it’s not like I made camp or anything :/

But how does USAPHO effect chances? Not much or a lot? Maybe I was just undervaluing it?

Euro, your school will give them grade distribution data so they will know where you rank.

)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))):
