I suck at Standarized Tests?

1910 SAT; 29 ACT. <—both have horrendous reading scores because (Idk why) timed passages always tie my brain into a knot.

I guess I should take some practice tests to see which test sucks less. But do colleges accept the Feb ACT? I know that some accept the Jan SAT. But I hate the vocab…

any suggestions?

Right now, I’m looking top tier colleges. I don’t want to go to college in Iowa, but my family can’t afford to pay out of state tuition. So my best hope is to get accepted into a private school with generous aid… for internationals like me…

hahahahhaa yea it’s freakin ridiculous

I am bad at standarized tests too

I strongly advise you to practice for the critical reading/reading sections with AP English Language multiple choice exam questions.
Last year, my AP English Language teacher advised the Princeton Review’s AP English Language exam review book. She used those tests for many of our MC tests. Most of her students receive 4’s and 5’s (and an appreciable amount of 3’s, too.).
Once you master the AP English Language Multiple Choice tests, the SAT CR and the ACT R should be ridiculously easy.
AP English Lang course and inclusive tests were all the prep that I did for CR and R. I do not think that additional prep would improve my scores. I state this to emphasize the assistance of the AP English Lang MC questions.
Good luck!

If this can make you feel better, I suck too. My SAT score was also in the 1900s. And I also have low reading scores. I took the Dec SAT and none of my schools would accept any more test scores after that date. So no more SAT Reasonings/ ACT for me.

I guess you should do some practice?
