Essay
I will write about a Table. How the table is important to me: In Africa my family and I were in a war and so we hide underneath the table from the bombs. Now, since I am in the USA for many years, don’t know exact number… but anyways, now my parents uses it to talk about bills and how will survive for next day.

So the essay will be a contrast of the use of a table in two different countries and two different situations.

I’ll be honest -it’s a long shot but you seem like an interesting person so that might pull you through. Your essays need to be rediculously good.

i love it!!!

Do we need to take the SAT II?

I also LOVE the essay idea. Very personal and very common. This is what they mean when they say the essay is very important.

Do you think the essay will give me a boost?

If done well, I would absolutely think it can help. Just don’t allow it to be trite or end up too cliche – if that is even a risk. Of course, who the heck am I to have an opinion, but there is something really compelling about the commonality of a coffee table – something we all typically have – and the vast differences of experience around it. And just thinking about it now, you might consider writing from the coffee table’s point of view and personify the table. Just an idea and maybe a little hokey, but at the same time a view from above and beneath is interesting none the less. If it were me, I’d at least try it if for nothing more than a writing exercise and to take myself out of it while truly revealing how it was/is emotionally.

I can give it you and you can help me.

I might give up because my rank will kill me I don’t think I have a chance.

there’s an excellent quote from Ford: “Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.”

If you go to the interview with self-confidence, ambition and intellectual curiosity, you can do it. If you despair and quit, you will not.

I love your idea for the essay! That should help you.

I am in the mist of writing a book about my life called “LOST HISTORY”.

Wow-- the essay will def help. The test scores aren’t amazing especially from a prep school. Also, Georgetown requires 3 SAT II’s. It would say probably a mid to high-reach. But, you never know! Make sure to take your tests again and work hard on the GPA… :)
