Okay… I’m pretty sure I bombed the Critical Reading SAT… There are questions I know i got wrong, but time would be called before I could fix it… The worst part is, I am pretty sure I did well on the experimental, and 1000X worse on the graded portion. I told my dad I think I bombed it (i began tearing up I think I did so bad), and he said if I didn’t do good the first time, I wouldn’t the second time. I already messed up really bad on the reading ACT, so that’s not an option either. After that, I worked SOO hard on SAT reading practice, and I did decent on those. I knew I bombed the ACT before I got scores, and the cycle is repeating… I just need some advice? Have you ever gotten a score better than expected? I expect 400s… I’ve already gotten in the 30s on the ACT Math and 8 on the essay, so I’m not concerned with those… Any advice would help. Thanks.

I thought I bombed math last time and I got a 740…don’t worry, you probably did better than u thought… I thought reading was hard to and on the other threads, a lot of people did too… The curve will probably be pretty generous because a ton of smart people take sat 2s in June since most of the Ivys require them… I’m not saying the people that took sat 1 in June aren’t smart too though, but just something to consider

I bombed it too

It’s true…the curve might be generous…Don’t worry-This SAT was kinda tricky
In case you decide to take the test again, make sure u practice with real SAT questions. Thats what will help you score high. If you can familiarize yourself with most of the tricks on real SATs, you’ll be able to ace it.
Just so u’d know, some of the questions on the june test were replicated from different tests in different ways.

You can practice every day for 2 months and not get above a 700… you should hire an SAT tutor of some sort to help you. Simply doing practice questions won’t do much IMO, especially if you don’t understand why the questions you are getting wrong are actually wrong.
