I think i check my email every 3 minutes...

Anyone else? LOL…got into my first grad school today, it was a nervewrecking experience…

My profile on their website said that a decision was being forwarded to the grad admissions office and i should recieve a letter soon from the university.

At first i was like, does that mean rejection?? It didn’t say! So i called the school and they informed me that I got in but that their online service was messing up.
WHEW.

1 down, 7 more to hear from. =)

Congratulations! Was this one of your top choices?

I too check my email compulsively, but I do to see if a late LOR has been submitted already. Ah, not yet :(

Any how, good luck with the other 6!

it wasnt one of my top but i was definitely glad to know someone wants me!!! haha and i would definitely go to the school …good luck to you too!!

Check your PM…and congrats…=).

I just leave a gmail browser window open at all times. I came home last night and saw a DHL letter on the front door; I almost **** myself. It turned out to be my roommate’s new license plates.

ahahahahaha i was in class when i read this and i actually giggled outloud…probably because yesterday, while running, i saw a Fedex truck drive by my apartment and i actually detoured from my running route to see if anything was dropped off at the apartment.

i also check the grad status websites about 8 times a day. my neurotic tendencies are increasing exponentially.

LOL

I’m told myself not to be attached to my e-mail until February 20th because I know for sure that the History programs aren’t making any decisions until early February so to do anything would be absolutely pointless (and a MAJOR distraction from my thesis). And besides… I’d like to be surprised  So check my e-mail 3 times a day is sufficient.

Congrats!
