I think its unfair!

I’ve been through threads and read that people get 3.8 for GPA and what not, out of 4 i believe. Over here in my school in Singapore its CAP(GPA out of 5), and its SO HARD to get a 3.8 which is like 4.75. Only like 5 or 6 people even get more than 4.6.

I think its quite unfair, or do you think colleges actually compare grades within my school for ALL of those who apply?

I’m really worried about this

Thanks for your replies if you do.

Schools will compare grades according to your school. Of course a 3.8 won’t be the same for every school so they use the school setting to see how competitive the grades are. Test scores also help tell how hard schools are.

That’s what ranks are for.
