Hey guys I noticed my online profile at my college (smc) seemed to have structured my name abnormally i think. It says my last name, first name, and then middle name for my email, my transcript etc. so it would go like doe john middle. is this normal??? thanks alot!

^ ah ok thanks for the reply. so is it like that for basically everybody? last name first name? sorry just a bit curious…

You’ve never seen this before? This is common, and the standard, for filing systems of all types which include people’s names: Lastname, Firstname Middleinitial. It’s pretty much everywhere you look, anything one can sign up for.
