I turned down ____________ for Wesleyan

I’m just mildly curious…

I turned down BU-Honors, CMU-Honors, Connecticut College, GWU, URochester with scholarships, and Vassar College for Wesleyan.

I’m turning down WashU and UT-McCombs for Wesleyan.

I turned down TCNJ, Rowan University, Goucher College, Trinity College, and Connecticut College for Wesleyan :D

Turned down Tufts, UC Berkeley, Oberlin, Colgate, and several others, including the Dana Scholars program at Muhlenberg.

Wow, this is crazy turnout. Well, Wesleyan is a phenomenal school. :-). Why not? :-D.

Anyways, going astray, who will it be tonight on “American Idol?”
…Jordin Sparks or Blake Lewis?

Sorry for going off-topic, but it’s just a fun little aside…

I’d say Jordin!

S turned down Bowdoin, Cornell, Michigan Honors, GW (lots of $) and NYU (just a little $) for Wes.

Wow, 3boysnjmom, all of those schools? That’s intriguing.

Cornell, Carleton, Auburn.

Doesn’t matter who you turned down. It matters where you’re going.

End thread.

It’s amazing how, once you finish the college app process, you quickly put it all behind you and forget about SATs, early action, where else you applied, blah blah blah. Of course, easy for me to say since I’m about to go to my first choice, Wes!

UC Berkeley (somehow I ended up getting a lot of financial aid and the alumni scholarship), UCLA, UCSD, Carleton, BU-Honors (the half tuition scholarship), and I forgot where else I got in

nyu bowdoin umaryland colby oberlin

Applied to only three schools: I turned down Union College (NY) (lots of money) and Uconn (full scholarship) for Wes… now tuition is over 50 grand!!! I better get into medical school after Wes or Sallie Mae is beat my behind.

brandeis, smith, mount holyoke, barnard
