but I just took the practice test on the college board’s website and got 33 out of the 38 MC questions correct. I understood the essays and stuff as well. Seeing as I’ve never studied European history, I’m thinking about self studying the course since it was so easy. Is the CB practice test a joke, or is self study doable.

It’s average. European History is not an easy course to study on your own, or at least it wasn’t for me because reading it out of a book was nothing compared to the wonderful and vigorous lectures our teacher gave. The hardest parts for me were the Renaissance and the Post-Cold War era, since they were done in September or not gotten to. Once you understand Euro, it’s really an easy test. But hey everyone is different so if you’re comfortable with the material then by all means do it.
