I want to drop a major pre-req that I don't need.

<p>I want to drop a class that happens to be one of 8 million courses that can count as the three lower-div pre-reqs for the American Studies major at Berkeley. I’ve already completed three pre-reqs with two A’s and a B. Do you guys think it will be a red flag if I drop the class, since it’s within my major - even though I don’t really need it?</p>

<p>I don’t think Berkeley will penalize you. You’ve already completed the requirement that can be fulfilled at CC. All that’s left pre-req wise is the American Studies 10 course at Berkeley.</p>
