I want to go the the university of Hawaii but don't know if I'll get in

I’m currently a senior and I expect to graduate in the spring of 2018. For a couple years now, I’ve had the dream of going the the university of Hawaii. I am part Hawaiian, have family in hawaii, and just love everything about it(I’ve been to almost all the islands). Hawaii for me is my “dream school” and I would love to go. I got a 1040 on my SAT (first try, taking it again in October) and a 3.4 gpa. I’ve been in marching band for 4 years, etc ( I have manany other accomplishments but I don’t want this to be too long). I’ve read the requirements of Hawaii and it seems like I’m right there(could be better, but close enough) I just want to know if i think I have a shot. Thanks

Check the common data set and freshman profile tosee how your stats stack up.

Academically you’re ok if you increase your score a bit, but the issue is that you will be OOS and therefore would need to pay much higher costs than instate students. What can your parents afford from income and savings? How much are they setting aside for you each month right now?

About 100%. I had almost everything you had minus marching band. You should be fine.
