what do I major in psychology or sociology?

Ahahahaha, this is pretty sad…

But psychology would be more appropriate. Manipulating people really isn’t as easy as Hannibal makes it seem. =p

Not really funny anymore :(

hmm the many psychology majors that i know are very caring and compassionate… i don’t think they manipulate at all

maybe a psychiatrist would be better… psyhiatrists are always evil (remember terminator?)

you could probably learn just as much about this being an english or communications major as you can a psychology major

Uhh…If you want to manipulate people, dangle absurd sums of money in front of their face.

philosophy will teach you how to form an argument and debate points well. it will have people at your mercy.

How about a business major, where you can focus on SALES or MARKETING?

Wait, wait, guys. We have it all wrong. You need to be a lawyer. Haha.

I actually do want to be a lawyer, that’s why I want to learn how to manipulate people. I have to do this with witnesses so that I win my cases. How would communication, English or philosophy help? What courses specifically?

Logic, public speaking, debate, etc.

sociology is the best major for anything

LOGIC LOGIC LOGIC. Take all the classes in logic you can. Ah, the variables of As and Bs and Xs…I was just discussing this with my Physics teacher (yeah, I know). You have 60 minutes to explain why public executions are beneficial to the common good. GO.

Obviously this person wants to be a politician… polisci or gvt major would get you on your path ;)

I agree with astrophysicsmom: business, concentration in marketing.

This is hilarious!!
Dont we all??

No, debate_addict.

I was kidding apparently!!:D

Oh, don’t try and deny it. The truth comes out, apparently, in your backtrack!

Lmao!! :D:D

A waste of a major if you ask me. Want to learn to manipulate people? Stop wanting to manipulate people, drop your ulterior motives and learn to a genuine, outgoing individual. No one likes a scheming manipulative ■■■■■■■.

secondly, take the Halo effect into consideration, be sure to take care of your overall appearance.

If you want some basic insight read the book, How to Win Friends and Influence by Dale Carnegie. It is essentially the bible of understanding the basic dynamics to social situations.

As a debate addict as your name implies you’ll struggle to understand this, but you will find later in life you generally can never win an argument. The costs of winning typically outweigh the marginal benefits.
