I currently have an overall weighted gpa of 3.63. It’s not spectacular but my studies took a little bit of a nosedive due to working full time, paying for my own apartment, and my mother’s recent diagnosis of neuromyletis optica. I have 55 credits total and taking 4 currently with what looks like A’s or A-. I currently take classes at Salem State University. I am enrolled in their 4+1 cohort program for elementary ed and political science. Unfortunately, this is the first year of them impletementing this program, and it is sloppy. I’m looking to transfer if possible. Are my grades good enough to transfer to Umass-Amherst? I would like to stay in Massachusetts if possible. Are there other schools I can apply to? I am a first-generation college student so I am looking for help in this process.
