I was denied admission into Barrett with these stats

I am pretty sure this year there definitely NOT be enough spaces at Barrett for non-honors students. I heard our freshman class is a little over what they usually pick and they reserve for freshman first (about 720 this year) and then there are still the upperclassmen that need to live there. They said they picked a few more over the cut off number of admitted studens (usually about 700) because they knew there would be a few in-state students who would live at home. I was expecting to live at home until I got admitted into Barrett- then I decided it would probably be best. Actually, most of my classmates who are going to barrett are living there which surprised me. The advantages really do weigh out the disadvantages.
