The moment I finished the Calc BC AP exam I was certain I got a five. I double-checked all my answers and found an overwhelming majority of them to be spot on. Now that scores are out, my college says I only got a three (incoming college freshman get their AP scores posted earlier on the school’s portal).
Should I wait until July 10th which is when official scores come out, should I email College board and tell them about this, or should I just accept the 3 and move on?
Based on official CB statistics, 44% of Calculus BC exam takers got a 5.
I’d say accept the 3 and move on, it sucks you won’t get the CC but no point in harping over it.
Hopefully you have the same form as the one CB released so that the links below may be of some assistance in clearing things up.

You could try to test out?
That stinks. Probably the only thing you can do is wait until the official scores come out, and verify that your college entered it right. At least your college posted your scores! It’s so frustrating having to wait
This happened to me recently with my APUSH exam. I am a straight A student and did very well in the class, and our school has always done very well on AP tests. However, I only got a 3. It’s the worst feeling, isn’t it? Will you still get college credit?
Wait until the official score and if it still is the same, then you could ask for a rescore or you could move on like a big boy/girl.
@Blue1998 I’m in the same boat as you for APUSH, it’s a horrible feeling
My son is the same. He struggled to pull a 90% in that class tho! Not his thing:)
My kid thought he’d get a 5 on Stats and a 4 on Government. He got the reverse. Thankfully, he’s all done. 14 AP courses in HS.
@chloeplef. Yeah Especially when most of your friends got fives, and did worse in the class
