I was in a movie...

Well last summer I was in an amateur film by some NYU Film student. There was one actor did appearances on some show that airs on CW11. One actor did commercials. I was just an extra, but I forgot to add that to my Activities SHeettT!!!

Is this a big deal?

I only have one school whos deadline didn’t pass, but that I’m on the fence about applying to, which is University of Maryland. UMD’s deadline is Jan. 20 so I got time.

BUT for the other schools (cornell, tufts, dartmouth, penn state, suny binghamton, uconn, umass, st. johns pharmD)

would this detail have made a difference?

Not really…lol. Don’t worry about it.

You are applying to Ivies. When you list your ECs it doesnt matter what activity you have. What matter is how you were different/acknowledged when you were involved. For example. Student one: member of 15 clubs. Student two: member of 5 clubs but executive on all of them. Student two is a better candidate. Being an extra would be good only if you are applying for performance arts. I assume thats not the case so dont worry about it  PS I just sent mine to cornell too :)
