I was interviewed...

The title is a bit misleading. But I was interviewed by some educational organization about my summer internship, which was pretty prestigious. I worked in a lab with undergrad and grad students and professors in nanotechnology/science applications. There is a video of me online answering questions and talking about my experiences. Although I talked about this internship a fair amount in my application to Michigan, I really think that this might increase my chances of getting in (I was deferred from COE), because I talk about how this has given me so much real world experience and insight. Should I send this video in, or would it hurt my chances and I would come off as trying too hard?

trying too hard.

Hm… I’d say send if you want, but I don’t think it’ll make a huge difference if you’ve already demonstrated how much this experience meant to you.

If its not a “new” thing or something you felt was under-covered in your application, I wouldn’t send it.
