Life Story (lol): I was born in India and moved to Chicago at a young age. Has moved around a bit but ended up in a rural hell-hole in Texas. I still have a bunch of family in Chicago and visit every year. I LOVE IT.

You are a strong candidate.
If you really want to be in Chicago, and at NU, you should apply ED.
Good luck!

I like your confidence. It’ll serve you well in moderation. Good luck to you.

any more? 10char

You’re in, especially because you’re not applying for aid.

you’ve got a really good chance. NU likes the hard-working kids for sure-it’s shows with your hard classes and APs. Definitely apply ED if you’re sold and it’s a pretty sure thing.

I heard NU tracks interest like visits. I have made an official visit. Does this also help (or solidify, lol) my chances?

Let’s put it this way: with an RD applicant, if it appears that you could have visited but did not, that could hurt you.

“Let’s put it this way: with an RD applicant, if it appears that you could have visited but did not, that could hurt you.”

I visited CHicago this summer, and I did make a visit, but with people that had already attended the university, not an official visit. Therefore this will hurt me?

I would make it clear on your app that you have visited and seen the school first hand

you will not be accepted because you are invisible.

^damn…I thought that would be a hook…lol
