Will my 700 verbal kill me at the competitive schools, or will the ACT be fine? Should I retake? Realistic at most of these schools? Any others I should consider? I am starting apps and essays and it is sort of wiggin me out. Thanx in advance for any input.

what do you think?

I noticed that you put top average in classes. Where would you put that on your college application. And would they seem insignificant?

You might also want to look at the University of Chicago, given the other schools on your list.

I didn’t know if they would mean anything, but my school does give awards based on those scores, mrcapslock.

It might help if I mention that I attend an urban private Catholic High School in Ohio with a high college entrance rate but does not historically send too many students to ivies.

What happened to this post on the main screen?
