<p>I don’t mind taking Biology and Chemistry next year, but wouldn’t that mean I’d have to take a year Organic Chemistry during my junior year? Would I be able to do study-abroad, then? Maybe it was bad logic on my part, but I wanted to get adjusted to college before I tackled these requirements. Hell, this semester I’m opting to take Calc I instead of what I placed into (Calc II), so that I’d finish off my freshman year strong and with confidence, so that I could tackle the large workload of school next year. Was this stupid?</p>

<p>No one here can tell you if this was stupid or not. Maybe you will succeed next year. Maybe the increased workload will overwhelm you. Since you’re not posting on this board worried about your grades, you probably did well this semester, so that’s certainly a point in your favor.</p>
