<p>but… I wrote my common app essay on john mccain> how i volunteered for the party> i wrote that i learned about the real political activities and other stuff>>> i am gonna major in political scinece… anyway… i didnt writie my essay too politically… i just told them what i saw and learned… how much i enjoyed being a part of democratic society</p>

<p>i truly believe this was a bad bad bad choice> plus since obama is the president elect<<<<<< </p>

<p>one thing that relieves me is that this essay was for a small christian school</p>

<p>yeah i really did volunteer for the party. but i didn’t do anything that actually had an impact on the election.</p>

<p>It could make a great topic to write about just make sure that you don’t criticize the other party or say why you thought mccain should have won. Only talk about what you learned and how that inspired you, etc.</p>

<p>You could send your essay to more liberal schools like NYU, as well. All schools want diversity in all senses of the word, and it might actually make you stand out a bit more. Can you honestly picture a school rejecting you because of your conservative view points?</p>

<p>i also wrote about volunteering for the political campaign, except it was for Obama and my congressman who both won so i dont have to worry about that. except it doesnt matter that you volunteered for mccain because its all about the experience you got from it.</p>
